Area of a rectangle | आयताचे क्षेत्रफळ

* क्षेत्रफळ म्हणजे काय ?
उत्तर - आकृतीने पृष्ठभागावर व्यापलेल्या जागेचे माप म्हणजे क्षेत्रफळ होय.
* आयत या आकृतीचे क्षेत्रफळ काढताना आपल्याला खालील सूत्राचा उपयोग करावा लागेल.
आयताचे क्षेत्रफळ = लांबी x रुंदी

Answer - Area is the measure of the space occupied by a figure on a surface.
* To find the area of a rectangle we have to use the following formula.
Area of rectangle = length x width

*उदा. एका आयताची लांबी 18 सेमी व रुंदी 13 सेमी आहे तर त्या आयाताचे क्षेत्रफळ किती होईल?
आयताचे क्षेत्रफळ = लांबी x रुंदी
आयताचे क्षेत्रफळ = 18 x 13
आयताचे क्षेत्रफळ = 234
आयताचे क्षेत्रफळ = 234 sq.cm

Area of rectangle = length x width
Area of rectangle = 18 x 13
